Your responsibilities

We are looking for an excellently qualified personality (m/f/o) with internationally recognized research achievements in a current field of modern food analysis, such as non-targeted analysis (-omics techniques) or the activity-guided isolation of bioactive food constituents.

The professorship is associated with teaching duties at all levels of student training in the food chemistry course (BSc and MSc).

Our expectations

  • Participation in interdisciplinary collaborations within the key research areas "Metrology" and/or "Engineering for Health" of TU Braunschweig
  • Proven successful experience with and willingness to raise third-party funds
  • Very good command of the English language as well as lecturing in English
  • Active participation in the self-administration of the university
  • Participation in the internationalization of the university

Requirements, § 25 NHG

  • Completed university studies
  • Proven pedagogical suitability
  • Special qualification for deepended independent scientific work, which is usually demonstrated by an above-average doctorate
  • Additional academic achivements, usually within the framework of a junior professorship, a post-doctoral lecture qualification (habilitation) or achivements equivalent to a habilitation
